Yoo Seung Ho portrays a man who suffers from painful memories on Missing You

Some posters of Yoo Seung Ho for MBC TV’s new drama series Missing You were recently released.
In the posters released on October 30, Yoo Seung Ho portrays Hyung Jun, who is outraged by the fact that he cannot make Soo Yeon to become his girl. In the photo shoot, a glass wall was used as props. The glass wall with raindrops running down maximizes Hyung Jun’s feeling for Soo Yeon.
When Yoo shot the pictures, he expressed various emotions through the glass wall and impressed the crew.
One of the crew says, “Yoo Seung Ho is really good at acting. We believe he will do a great job in portraying a man who suffers from painful memories in this drama series.”
Missing You is a melodrama about a man and a woman who live with painful memories about their first love. It’s written by Moon Hee Jung, who also wrote Smile, Love and Can You Hear My Heart, and directed by Lee Jae Dong, who also directed Thank You and Can’t Lose. It will start airing on November 7 at 9:55 p.m.

Kim Joo Hee
Teacher
At first she’s a temporary teacher and only wanted to be hired as a regular teacher.
When she finally being hired as regular teacher, she started to realize the harsh reality of the school.
But, she tried to be a good teacher.
As time passed, the meaning of teacher for her was just a job to earn income.
One day, the school’s principal ordered her to investigate a bullying case in her class. Because one parents complained that their kid was bullied.

She was Joo Hee’s former junior high school classmate.
She was pretty, smart and popular in the school , her parents were wealthy, father was doctor and mother was famous professional chef.
But that wealthy parents didn’t give her love.
She studied abroad after high school.
But one day her world collapsed when she got a scar in her face and her dream was gone. Later her parents divorced and both remarried.
When she returned to Korea, she found that her father has new family and happy and she hate it.

Oh A Young
Joo Hee and So Jung’s junior high school friend.
Her parents run a small restaurant in countryside and moved to Seoul so that their daughter got a better education.
Oh Ah Young’s real name was Sun Bok and she was bullied by her school friends in Seoul because of her name and her country style.
At that time, So Jung was an angel for Sun Bok because So Jung gave Sun Bok’s father job through So Jung’s father. Moreover, So Jung was so friendly to Sun Bok and advised her to change her name.
But then, So Jung started to bullied Sun Bok too when they were surrounded by other friends. Sun Bok always wanted to ask So Jung, why ?

Oh Tae Soo
Sun Bok’s brother.
After Sun Bok’s accident, everything changed. Their father died regretting why they moved to Seoul.
Tae Soo who was a brilliant student and wanted to enter prestigious university , only graduated from a regular college and became a salaryman. His main duty was caring Sun Bok and his mother.
Actually, he wanted to ask the girl who did bad things to Sun Bok, why she did that. He heard that that girl went abroad to study.
When finally he meets her, he couldn’t ask.
That former pretty girl looks like a hell just like his sister, Sun Bok.

Lee Seoyeong
Lee Samjae’s daughter. Woojae’s wife.

She gave up her dream to enter college and support her younger brother instead.
She worked to earn a living and when her mother died after collapsed because her father used her tuition money for gambling, she hated her father more.

Kang Woojae
Seoyoung’s husband, President of Winners.
He’s clever, rich and always successful in life. He fell in love with Seoyeong, married her and loves her very much.

Lee Samjae
Seoyoung and Sangwoo’s father
He was friendly and warmhearted, but he got involved in many bad things.
He was a former section chief in small company. After he lost his job because of financial crisis, his life turned into disaster.
He felt sorry to his daughter Seoyeong as she experienced hard life because of incompetent father.
He wishes that someday, she will understand that people cannot live in life as he wishes. But, it can’t be the excuse of his incompetent as well. So, he understands and still loves his daughter who hates him. Till he die…

Lee Sangwoo
Samjae’s son. Twin brother of Seoyoung. 2nd grade resident in medical school.
He has bright and cool personality. Never complained his condition or blamed somebody else. He always makes home bright with small mischief.
He lover his sister and they are so close. Just one year before he graduated from medical school, his mother died.
He knows that his father is incompetent man but for him, his father is a pitiful man as well.

Kang Kibum
Chaiman of Winners. Seoyeong’s father-in-law
A successful bussinessman who doesn’t care with his wife’s daily life as far as he gives her money. He is more interested with women out of home.

Cha Jisun
Kibum’s wife.
Her father was a successful politician so she married Kibum through arranged marriage.
As she graduated from a music-college, her hobby is singing.
She’s a selfish person, she belives that her husband will love her after they got married but unfortunately it didn’t happened. So, she lives in loneliness despite lot of money.
She didn’t want her favorite son ,Woojae, to marry a poor girl , Seoyeong. But because her husband accepted Seoyeong, she couldn’t do anything.
She hates and envy Seoyeong because Woojae loves her so much.

Kang Mikyung
Kibum’s daughter. Woojae’s sister. 2nd grade resident in medical school.
She is tomboyish with easy-going and simple personality. A little careless and wild personality. She is passionate and hot.
Watching a loveless marriage of her parents, she comes in conclusion that marriage without love is just a tomb.
So her highest aim is finding a man who loves her as she is, that’s why she hid her family background from her college’s friend.
One day she meets Sangwoo and starts to love him.

Kang Sungjae
Kibum’s last son. Woojae’s last brother.
He is an inferior in his family. He didn’t do good at school. He relies heavily on his wealthy family.
Then Seoyeong successfully helped him to enter medical school.
Everybody praised Seoyeong as a great totor for Sungjae, but turned out, it’s because Sungjae slowly develops one-sided love for Seoyeong.
Unfortunately, she becomes his sister-in-law

Hojung’s father. Director of Winners. Kibum’s high school friend.
Because of his old friend, Kibum, he became a director at Kibum’s company.

Hojung’s mother.
A hard working woman who experts in small investment.

College girl majoring harp. She’s kind, warm and naive woman.

Choi Kyungho
Mikyung’s first love. Hojung’s step-brother. Son from Minsuk’s prior wife.
When he was seven years old, his father married with second wife. Since college he lived far from Minsuk’s family.
When he was trained in America, he met a woman, Boyun, and they married and stayed in America. But he lost his wife three years later because of cancer.
Then he got offer from Korean hospital and decided to come back to Korea.

Lee Yunhee
Seoyeong’s friend. A staff in law-firm.
When she was a high school girl, she’s Seoyeong’s rival.
When she knew Seoyeong’s mother wass a maid in her house, she intentionally invited Seoyeong and their friends to her home, and made Seoyeong embarassed. Seoyeong quitted school after that.
But then, she started to feel guilty.
When her father’s business fell down, she moved to Seoul and joined law-firm as a regular staff. She meets Seoyeong again.
